The Rencontre des Jeunes Physicien.ne.s (RJP – « Young Physicists’ Day ») Paris is a yearly one-day event traditionally hosted in the fall that aims to bring together the entire PhD-level physics community of the Paris area.
It is organised by PhD students members of the Youth Commission of the French Physics Society.
The aim of the RJP conference is to offer non-permanent physicists a broad overview of current issues in fields as diverse as non-linear optics, cosmology, biophysics, granular media or cold atoms.
The conference includes oral presentations and poster sessions. The diversity of themes addressed invites participants to come together around a common culture in an informal way. Presentations selected by the organising committee focus on general issues while highlighting the innovative spirit of research. During the conference, the Young Researchers’ Prizes will be awarded by the French Physics Society.
After the success of the first ten editions, we look forward to meeting you in a stimulating and friendly environment!
